The Ferry Inn provides a relaxed and informal dining experience with restaurant standard food in an enhanced pub setting. A well-loved food destination in Stromness, we offer a selected menu focused specifically on local food and drink. The Ferry is very busy for meals through the summer months and we strongly recommend booking in advance.
The Ferry Inn is open for dinner from 5pm daily from April to October and from 5.30pm-8pm from October - December. The restaurant will be closed from Jan-April 2025.
The kitchen at The Royal Hotel prepares a beautiful breakfast each morning for hotel residents during their stay. Unfortunately however the restaurant has remained closed for meals since the pandemic. In the evening guests are therefore encouraged to book to dine at the Ferry Inn (situated just 150m along the street).
